Rich Deegan, CRPM
Carpenter / Field Project Manager
Rich inherited his passion and love for carpentry from his father—growing up watching his dad’s handiwork and picking up woodworking skills at an early age.
Honing his craft under the tutelage of Sweeney Design Remodel which began in 1989, Rich has fast become a master carpenter—constructing and repairing frameworks and structures, following blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of Sweeney clients. In 2013, Rich returned to work for Sweeney after trying his hand at entrepreneurship for 12 years. His reliability, honesty and most importantly, attention to detail, are what our clients value most when working with him. His dashing good looks and sparkling personality are an added bonus, but you’ll have to judge that one for yourself.
While some jobs may seem similar, no two jobs are alike. And, no one knows this more than Rich. Coupled with his technical knowledge and tenacious work ethic, you can count on him to figure out the most challenging of circumstances in any carpentry job, always finding a workable solution, and making your remodel go as smooth as it possibly can.
Rich and his beloved wife Angie have four active children that keep them both very busy. Being an adoring father, he spends most of his free time coaching and attending his kids’ football, basketball and baseball games; wrestling matches and dance events.
When he’s not busy with sporting events, he enjoys being outside – hunting and doing yard work. Rich is a true lover of the great outdoors and is looking forward to spending even more time gardening and landscaping once he retires.
