Luke Faul

Lead Carpenter

Born and raised in Madison, WI, Luke comes to Sweeney Design Remodel with over two decades of construction experience, 15 years as a skilled carpenter. 

His responsibilities include communicating updates and time frames with clients, supervising the field carpenters and trades, reading blueprints, assigning and explaining tasks to the project team, responding to clients’ requests, and regularly inspecting work done by the project team to ensure that it conforms to certain specifications. 

When asked what he is known for professionally, Luke replied “I love everything in the carpentry field, but I particularly enjoy finish work—cabinetry, trim, and doors.”

One of the company’s newest recruits, Luke has been pleasantly surprised in the all-around atmosphere at Sweeney. “It’s phenomenal,” he said. “The guys I work with, and for, are really good to me and each other. As a new employee, that really makes me feel at home.”

When Luke isn’t building and managing projects, you’ll find him biking with his daughter, taking advantage of the 260 parks in and around Madison. He also enjoys remote control (RC) racing with his son. Sharing a favorite pastime of Madison residents, Luke particularly relishes the outdoors—fishing, hiking, and hunting, to name a few.
