Diego Quiroga

Carpenter Apprentice

Diego, an OSHA-certified professional, is currently pursuing a Construction & Remodeling Certification at Madison College. With several years of experience, he has contributed to a variety of local projects, including full house remodels, additions, and interior repairs.

In his role as a Carpenter Apprentice at Sweeney, Diego collaborates with lead carpenters on diverse tasks such as job site setup, demolition, material delivery, and installations of windows, doors, and cabinets. His skills extend to framing, finishing, and maintaining workshop cleanliness and organization.

“I am very passionate about finish carpentry work. I am looking forward to enhancing my finishing skills here but also to learn and improve more in every single aspect of carpentry.”

Diego, a native of Mexico, is a bilingual individual proficient in both English and Spanish, excelling in reading, writing, and speaking both languages. Passionate about soccer since the age of 3, he is an avid player and spectator, with FC Barcelona and the Mexican National team holding a special place in his heart. Outside of work, Diego enjoys spending time downtown with friends, engaging in soccer activities, or strolling through town with his canine companion.
